- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Very disappointing experience banking w/ BBT. At least the King brach. Waiti time each time I have been in to talk to someone is beyond comprehention. Getting someone to answer the phone is mind boggling too. They really do not bend over backwards to satisfy. I always feel and also notice that the customers are somehow to fell lucky to be waited on. The final straw came today. I wanted to deposit a check. They wanted to put a 5 day hold on it!! Since when does it take 5 days for a check to clear. It doesn't. I have been with BBT for quite a while. I am not a new or lousy customer. I took that check up the street to my other bank....Wachovia. No problem. No hold. Nothing. Easy as pie. Why...because I was a good customer. Just like I am./was with BBT. But BBT doesnt' do for customers. Wachovia does. Closing my BBT acct.By A Google User, June 05, 2017
